OMG I'm soooo cold this morning!!! I hate this weather. My grandma is here a few more days so tonight we're going out to dinner - I'm trying to decide between crab or steaks... She can get steak anytime but blue crab is sorta the specialty here.... Also tomorrow we're going to DC she wants to see the "hubub" as she calls it - meaning all the bleachers, the innaguration podium etc. She doesn't walk so well so I'm trying to figure out how I can get to where she can see stuff and take pictures etc without having to walk much. Sunday she is flying out but my sister is flying in Monday!!! No rest! have a great day everyone!

-22/-39 with the windchill. I think my eyeballs froze on the way to work.

Speaking of danishes, I've made a cream cheese monster out of my husband. He adores cheesecake, but I've been trying to branch out. Well, we've added a new cream cheese dessert to the mix - Cream Cheese Triangles. I don't have almond flavoring on hand, so I use my alcohol free vanilla flavoring. Next time, I think I'll slap some mango jam in the middle. Mmmm.

Tasha, you should look into weight watchers, it seems very effective for me. It will probably be much easier for you to diet with hubby gone. I can blame alot of my weight gain on all the pita, rice, fried veggies, etc. I will not eat it anymore!

This song was our song last winter when we were nearing the end of our AP. Hubby used to sing it to me over the webcam. Well I just dropped him off at work and it came on the radio (I haven't heard it in so long!) and he started singing it to me again. I can't believe how far we've come since then and how much stronger our love for each other is.:wub::wub:

Kelly, that is exactly what I am going to do. They have free registration right now. I did years ago and lost 45 lbs and was never really all of that hungry.

No work MLK day for me - little guy has school, we have to work Tuesday (can you say NIGHTMARE) and my son has school off. Mostly because they are closing a major interstate for traffic control that day.....*sigh*

That is so exciting! Are you actually attending the inauguration? I heard that there's something like one porta potty for every 400 people!
