Haven't started one of these in a while I think. Had a sucky night, though we made the best of it. Went to sleep with three sweaters, a pair of fleece pants, ragsox, mittens and a hat on. I don't think my husband will ever forget to check our oil level again. Still no heat and I'm excited to be here, this freakin' early, at work. :ranting::ranting::ranting:

Stay warm everyone...it was 23 degrees here in Tallahassee this morning. I know for some of you that's a heat wave, for us it most definitely is not!

Oh that sucks Bridget! We just got propane heat and my dad keeps drilling in my head to keep a watch out for the gage on it in a few months.

Today, the coldest day in five years, my landlord decides to plow the parking lot. Cars have to be out by 8 or get a fine and towed. Well guess what, my car won't start. Now I have to be late to work to try to plead my case to the plow people and/or my landlord. Don't tow my @#$!@#$ car!

Tasha - Hey Girl! I'm good. I just posted this in the Baby Corner but I'll post for you all here too:

Just wanted to let you know I had an U/S yesterday - the baby is doing awesome~! He's in a perfect weight for his age and especially with my diabetes. He weighs 2.9 lbs and all his measurements are right on. He had an issue 6 weeks ago where the dr mentioned his kidneys were not closed like they should be, but that there was time and that he would monitor that. Well, the kidneys were closed up perfectly like they should be. Yay!!!

Now, I just have to start going once a week for this high-powered U/S for the rest of the pregnancy.

Good morning everyone! Weather will be beautiful today with a high of 74! OMG i'm seeing where it's -10 now in Chicago!!! Ouch that is cold!!

Jen, that totally sucks a booger!! Hopefully they will have some compassion. What can you do if it will not start!

Jeanne...I'm coveting you!!! With windchill it is like -10 here in Ohio also.

Staashi...that is great the baby is doing well. I had so many ultrasounds when I was pregnant with Malek because of the diabetes. Also, lots and lots of stress exams.

Good morning MENA. I submitted the final information that the loan dept requested. She told me that if she gets all the info by 2pm today, that we may be able to close as early as this Friday or Monday! I sure hope it's Friday! I'd LOVE to be able to move in over the weekend!!!

Brig...holy #######!!! I bet he'll never forget last night as long as he lives!!! I hope its back to normal tonight for you ensha'allah.

Lovely party last night for the short time I was able to be there. I had to restart my computer ....and then fell asleep while I was waiting for it to reload.....and it only takes 2 minutes to load..yeah, I guess I was tired. Problem is (brnid) that I woke up with new eyebrows, a mustache, and new black freckles that I had never seen before. There was a black sharpie next to me with a note attached that read :amal, enjoy the new look, love, sharpie: <_< I'm not amused. And seriously, did you have to freeze ALL my bras? Not too comfy gettin ready to work today....no....

I have taken 4 xtra strength tylenol and it still feels like Edward Scissorhands is carving a topiary out of my uterus. Oh and yeah...guess once again I'm not pregnant.

I'd go home but it's too fkg cold at home. :crying::crying:

OMG I don't know how cold it is here today but I'm freezing!!!! I really hope that by Tuesday it warms up. My little sister is coming to visit and we're going to the inauguration (not my idea -hers)

My poor mom near Minneapolis said that she is not even venturing outside because it's soooo cold! I saw it was about -15 this morning with no windchill.....wow I do not miss that. Stay warm Jen!

Jeanne where are you that it's always warm??? I want to go there!
