Yup it's been days in cdo with rains and flood. My moms place were just one of the victim when the river over flow. My friends and relatives and all over cdo got hit by this calamity. My brother's gf their family owns a beach resort in bonbon/bayabas and all their cottages were all gone. Mom said there's even twister in talakag upper in cdo. This is the first of it's kind. Never happened before. Hope the people in Cdo are ok and so does the other provinces. God bless all

Wow, the report I read didn't say anything about Bayabas. My wife's family, Mom, Dad and siblings, all live there. I think I will have her give them a call tonight. I know they are very close to the ocean but am not sure about the river.

I also heard that Gingoog was also hit pretty hard. Damn!

Yup mom said iligan is one of them. The whole Mindanao area per se but northern mindanao got the hardest hit. PAGASA said this could last up to jan 16.

My Abby is in northern Mindanao just west of CDO, (El Salvador to be precise) as I am speaking with her now, the rain has not stopped and the river is still rising.

Oops, they just lost power again for the 3rd time in 2 days. They are on high ground and had water in their house Sunday night, still shoveling out mud even now. I hope it lets up soon.

Finally, our electric power is back but I am sure the electric company will turn-off the electric again later... We are done cleaning our house but it seems that there is flood coming...so, we need to protect our things against the flash flood...

I hope that the rain will stop...pls pray for us here...thanks!!!

I was worried about my family too! My sister told me they are ok. The water behind thehouse was already waist-deep and thank God for a cemented wall separating our house from that vacant land! If the wall wasn't there, water would surely come in. At the neighbor's which is just a house away, the water went inside their house and was knee deep. Also my family had to help rescue our family friends who live near the bridge in Opol. Thank God the car can wade through the flood or else they will be stuck in there! Let's continue to pray for the victims, residents and the weather of cdo.

Please pray for the people from CDO and in Misamis Oriental.

As of today there are 14,400 families were affected from the flash flood.

We are hoping that the Cagayan River will not over flow again.
