pakistani living in the philippines

hi just a quick question, my husband is from pakistan but he lives in the philippines...can we do his CR-1/ir-1 process in the us embassy in the philippines, i dont want him to file thru the us embassy in pakistan and like i said he lives in the philippines...with our son...

he has his valid visa, his ACR, his I card in the philippines...all legal...legal resident in the philippines

You are talking about a DCF. If you went back and reestablished your residence for 6 months first you could file that way. But Both parties have to have legal residence first.

Its going to be less time consuming to file the I-130 while you are here in the United States and have him do the interview in Manila rather than Islamabad.

no plans to do a DCF...actually i wasn't aware of that when i was still living in the philippines with my son and husband. i was only a student that time and no one wanted to be my co sponsor...no relatives, family member...not even to help us out with paying the 355$ forms...so i decided to come back to the united states after graduation and found a job...and so will definitely be filing the I 130 thru USCIS (VSC) and thru the US embassy in the philippines for both my son and husband's interview...
