Did you check your case status online with the USCIS?

That way you can see what that states...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Perhaps they are filing it with the Visa Center that has jurisdiction over your proposed POE? I thought I read something like that somewhere....

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.

That is strange...

What is your current address? I just realized you said your abroad.

Perhaps that had something to do with it?

Intended POE is not a question on any form during the visa process. Sounds like they are simply shifting workload. I have strong doubts "INS" is mentioned on the paperwork though, since it hasn't existed for about 7 or 8 years.

Didn't many of the VSC cases get transfered to CSC to help deal with teh VSC slow processing times/back-log??? They should have let you know though if you were one of them...

we have an EAC number. yeah, we live in cambodia.

and why would they transfer it from the CSC to the VSC? now we have to wait even longer. my fiance is from sri lanka and it's a pain in the a*s to travel/get visas ANYWHERE with his passport-- they seem to be on a worldwide blacklist along with nigerians and iraqis.

i guess we'll just have to wait and see...
