We are APPROVE finally after 10 mos + 21 days. I am now relieve & happy. Thanks All Vjers who are always there behind me, makes me smile when I'm feeling down. Thanks for all your advices and informations. Special thanks to this VisaJourney site. Thank you my vj friends (sorry if I forget some) Lady23 Eden, Kennethea, amorsiempre, Cin&ric,cgtor,waithatter, pushbrk,mononoke,yundan,yhabitk, notime4hatters,soniasharmin, candidwitch ete etc. :thumbs::dance:

:dance: Congratulation!!!!Finally it is in ur hand...Hopefully we will all get to hear something really soon...typically it is taking 215-230 days...(except for mamalou,narina(who has not heard anything yet) and few others...)otherwise, it is nice to see VSC working...

Not to mention, we all have seen no approval at all in oct./nov. ...we have seen bad days and good days together...that's how we have formed a family together...K3 Family.....

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I've just been reading your post here but i never replied coz like you, i have been frustrated for several months of waiting for the petition to be approved. but months passed and there was none and it felt like a child being left at school without no one to pick her up after and seeing her classmates being picked by their parents after yet no one's coming for her. it was frustrating. but this january 7, we got our approval. i couldn't stop crying when i saw the email from the USCIS (CRIS). I was just so happy. Now, we're not going with the IR/CR1. The frustration of waiting and for the papers to move without my husband by my side isn't worth it. We'll proceed with K3, be together, and face the next challenge together as well.

I'm so glad you got your approval. CONGRATULATIONS!

11.10.08-called up USCIS to inquire about our status/sent faxes to congressmen and senator

11.12.08-called up USCIS again and was told that our case was moved to CSC back in June(!) because the state department have some questions about some of the documents we filed. And they never sent us any RFE...Grrrrrrr!!!! Was told that they don't know what the problem with the documents...Grrrrrr (again)! and was told that they will file a request for review...uuuuuggghhhh!!!!

01.14.09: Hubby sent a Thank you letter to his senator's office for clearing out the confussions with our application last Dec. 4. We'll go with K3...Hubby's doing his ITR as we speak... =)
