After 14 months and one RFE I recived congratulation letter, and I couldnt belive...I was getting ready for interview, but they finaly sent me a aproval

Congratulations, Likas for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! What a good way to begin the New Year, indeed!

After such a long 14 months/1 year wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC (I assumed you filed at the VSC, as it took so long for you to get approved) is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Likas!

If you don't mind sharing, how long ago did you submit your evidence responding to the RFE? I am wondering how quickly they process a case after receiving an RFE reply.

Thank everybody, I recived RFE on november 1 2008, and aplied to remove cond a year before almost on the same date. They asked from me everything, like I never sent anything. I sent almost the same evidence on November 20 2008, and today I recived aproval. The evidence I sent the first time was:

-lease on both names

-life and car insurance on both names

-joint accounts on both names

-income on both names

-credit cards on both names

-phone bills, electricity bills, cable bills on both names all bills

- affidavit from 3 friends

- cards and mail from friends and family,

- junk mail on both names

-20 photos

And I still got RFE, I sent everything the same ,some things updated

I guess there is no rules, my friend had much less documents, never got RFE just green card right away. Maybe it has to do something with a country of origin(mine Serbia) so they were double checking.
