I was just wanted who was getting married anytime soon, since its that time of year. :whistle:

I just wanted to congrats those who have gone thru the process and are finally with the partners. I know it was a long drawn out process for me but what the heck it was worth the wait and now my husband and I will be celebrating out 1st anniver. in Oct.

October 7th. don't know if that falls under soon, but every wedding related person I've talked to (bridal stores, venues, photographers, etc) always pop out their eyes and say, "wait, oct 7 of THIS year???" It's good fun.

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

We are getting married next Monday, June 19th...again. And if God keeps helping us, we are going through all this process again right after that.

06/19/2006 Got Married again in San Francisco City Hall

07/17/2006 Refiling AOS and EAD. Chicago (daughter included as dependent child)

07/26/2006 Got NOAs in the mail

08/09/2006 Biometrics taken, Santa Rosa, CA (my daughter and I)

10/17/2006 Interview in Sacramento, CA just me APPROVED!!!

10/27/2006 GOT MY GREEN CARD

11/30/2006 Got my daughter's EAD

12/07/2006 Got my daughter's SS Card

01/25/2007 My daughter's Interview in Sacramento, CA APPROVED!!!

02/10/2007 Today is my daughter's birthday and today SHE GOT HER GREEN CARD

REMOVING CONDITIONS (I-751)

07/15/2008 I-751 sent (daughter included as dependent child)

07/21/2008 I-751 received (Laguna Niguel-California Center)

07/23/2008 Only one check cashed ($545)

07/26/2008 I 797-NOA Extension Letter received (only for me)

07/28/2008 Check $80 (daughter's) returned

08/04/2008 Infopass!

08/14/2008 Biometrics appointment 8:00 am (just me)

10/16/2008 2pm Interview in Sacramento. APPROVED!

11/06/2008 GOT MY GREENCARD, Expires 10/30/2018

10/23/2008 I-751 sent for daughter, check for $545 included

10/27/2008 I-751 received (Laguna Niguel-California Center)

11/06/2008 My daughter got her I-797-NOA Letter of Extension

octoberish??.. My graduation is in August so, have to sort that out first...

December 2004 --- Met in Japan while Grace studied and Josh worked as an English Teacher

March 2005--------- Official courtship begun

June 2005---------- Grace returned to Malaysia to complete her degree studies

August 2005-------- Josh went to Malaysia for his first visit

December 2005---- Josh and Grace went to Thailand and Josh proposed in Phuket!

22 February 2006-- Filed petition I-129f

27 February 2006-- NOA 1

31 March 2006----- Josh met Grace in Malaysia and did pre marital counselling in a dynamic church!!

28 April 2006------- NOA 2 [ great timing for Grace just finished her finals on the 26th, praise God]

19 May 2006-------- NVC received case and gave out case number

4 June 2006--------- Packet 3 obtained

9 June 2006--------- Self collected Packet 4 in the embassy

10 June 2006-------- Medical examination

22 June 2006-------- Interview!! --- A.P.P.R.O.V.E.D ---

26 June 2006-------- Visa in hand..

15 September 2006- U.S. entry with Josh

14 October 2006----- Marriage ceremony!!

We're aiming for Oct 3rd :yes: or at least that was our "estimate" wedding date written with pk3 LOL....

initially we were intending to wed on august 8... but with imbra and all the goodies that come along with it... im hoping september or october (we have a list of days we want to get married, some numerology thing we came up with haha!)...then again im back to saying that these dates are hopeful situations... :(

I will probably be flying to the US on July 25, 2006 and we plan on getting married in early to mid august so we can get the next step of immigration going ...

We are thinking about flying to Vegas for a weekend as long as finances allow for that ...
