what is a CFO??? when will i need it?? wen we file the I-129F OR WHEN I GET INTERVIEWED.. we r planning to get married at california

You attend CFO before you leave the country, Most do it around interview time or after. If you do it before interview or before you get visa you just get a cetificate which you show after you receve your visa and they put a stamp on the visa or you can go after you get your visa and get the stamp on it when you attend. You must have this stamp on your visa before they will let you board the plane to leave the country.

what are the advantages of goin in cfo seminar before/when you get the visa ? aside from making just one trip. is it really better to go for cfo after getting the visa?
