Ohmygosh, Trailmix! Did you get that storm last night?? :o Did you see the mess on the news? Tractor trailers upside down and steel roofing wrapped around everything in sight? Holy smokes.

We did and I did see that roof on that warehouse on the news this morning. It was quite the little storm, lots of thunder and lightning here.

Woohoo! We are having a cool spell! If I wake up early enough the next three mornings, it will be in the upper 50s!!

Figures, though. We are going to Minnesota for our anniversary next week. Usually Minnesota in summer is a nice break from the hellacious heat of the lower midwest. That isn't really why we are going there, but it is a nice advantage.

I know...can you believe it???? WOW!!! I'm SO HIGH right now! :lol: I turned off the a/c and flung all the windows open...it's going to be HEAVEN to sleep!!!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :lol:

We've barely had a summer in SK!!! A few hot days, but nothing that sticks around! The temperature if you are lucky will get up to 20C!! :angry:

Its freezing outside in the mornings! And today cloudy, windy and cold! :angry: We have had maybe three or four 30C days! I've worn my summer capris all of 3 or 4 times, they are gathering dust at the moment! You won't hear a peep from me if it gets hot the last few weeks of August!

So it is 9:30 pm and still about 84 degrees outside (was in the 90s during the day) and very humid. The sky directly overhead is clear and you can see stars and this beautiful full moon. Around the horizons though in all directions there is heat lightning flashing - silently - lighting up different sections of the horizon. It is really rather awesome to see it all around and be in the clear under that brilliant moon.

It was pretty darn humid here where I live today.

And the Weather Network really needs to work on their weather.

It was pouring rain out when I looked at the website and it said it was sunny out.

Carla, hubby said it was the 8th coolest on record. I forget where he got that. Channel 4's weather guy, I guess. I'm surprised it isn't 1st or 2nd. We are still cooler than usual for August (or less hot, anyway), but July spoiled me.

Minnew, I'd love it if that were our weather here. Of course I might not actually survive a Saskatchewan winter. 15 to 20 C is ideal. There really is no reason for it ever to get warmer than 20C. Ever.

The humidity this morning was 97%!
