THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!! I'm SO excited! Now a little overwhelmed reading all of the NVC wiki guide information. Wow, that is a lot to take in.

Should I go and get my police check now? (Even though NVC has not yet fully received my case? It's only been a day....)

Where is the January approval forum? I couldn't find it...

SOOOO excited! Don't know what I would do without all of you Visa Journey friends....probably would've paid a lawyer my life savings and not have learned anything through the process!

When I thought this whole visa approval process would never happen......I get an email saying:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On January 6, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

Ok, so now to all you "guru's" out there............HELP! I feel like I know what I'm doing, but I really would love some information

from those who have gone with the I-130 what happens next, what to expect, etc. I just feel like I'm on information overload!

So if there are any people with good info out there please let me know! I would love to know the process from here.

First off, Congratulations!!!

Since, I, myself, am on the same boat as you, having been approved December 22nd, of 2008 (like Aman), I am not sure what to tell you or what to expect. How long it will take for the NVC to process all the documentations and and fwd it to the Consulate. Any help would also be appreciated.
