Good luck lawg, i'm sure your interview will be just fine!

Every time I read her name I think of "Yule Log".... the one that I call "Log" which comes on the TV at Christmas. In fact, I was scanning the On Demand movies last week and saw that we get it too!!!!

After a scare when I went to pick up my medical results (they closed down early - but we managed to get the results from the x-ray place next door). We flew back to the consulate and managed to get in before they locked up for the night. I will be picking up our Visa's tomorrow at 2:00!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe this is actually almost over!

Tomorrow we also have an appointment to report our daughters birth etc. Hopefully there are no glitches there!

Thanks for all the support!!!

Yay! Congratulations!

So we officially have Visa's in hand but no report of birth abroad approval yet. My husband didn't understand that he needed to Prove he was on US soil for 5 years. So now he has to get a letter from his employer to prove it. Hopefully once that's done they will complete her Birth Abroad and send me her passport. Until then we are not moving of course.

Oh, the rain has been miserable this week in Vancouver, so glad the visa part went okay and best of luck on registering your daughter's birth.

It may be a new rule but this is in bold red letters "Even if your child holds the nationality of a country other than the U.S., if your child has a claim to citizenship, he or she must be in possession of a valid U.S. passport to enter and exit the United States." So we have to wait for her passport which we applied for at the same time.

My husband couriered a letter from his employer today so hopefully this will be over soon.

Thanks again for all the well wishes! I'm so happy there may be light at the end of a 3 year long tunnel! lol
