Thanks guys!! I am going to wait until the operator can confirm that the bill has been generated before I pay it. I'm not in a rush just yet, since I don't have the PCCs I need for the DS-230 yet.

Once u get the scan, have them scanned and e mail it to you and you can print it out to save some time. NVC told me thats no problem and also few people here have the same. Then when u get the original PCC, keep it unless they asked for it. goodluck

Update:

Wife completed her medical today and received report same day. They gave her 4 vaccine, had blood test, and x-ray. Now waiting for to submit docs to VFS.

WaitHatter - Good stuff. My wife got the two local PCCs done, and signed by the Gandhinagar office. Now onto the passport office, however it looks like Monday is a holiday because of Shivratri, so it may have to be Tuesday. Will definitely give Monday a shot. 1 step closer to the end of this dark tunnel.

There is a simple rule...

AOS packet includes only Petitioner's docs(co-sponsors if needed)

DS 230 packet includes only Benificiary's docs...

Therefore, if u r not asked from NVC to include urs, then u don't need to send Orig. Birth Cert.

When you do your cover letter make sure you askd to have your original back during the interviews... they will send it back to you. You can have the certified copies too but just to be sure, send originals.
