Just wondered how many people are stuck in visa hell. I filed in Nov 2007 and we are still apart. How many of us are there still trying to get to be with our loved ones and are way way outside the normal time line. AP AR or whatever reason

I thought 8 months was bad enough for us, especially since most people were approved much sooner than 8 months.

We had no issues or anything complicated about our case, but it seemed to take forever for our approval. We were very fortunate that we were able to see each other every single weekend while we waited for our approval because we only lived 3 hours from each other.

I hope you hear something soon. Just try to remember that every day is one day closer to you being able to be together forever.

You should be almost done. Have you tried calling the DOS to check for updates on your case. Has your SO had a home visit. This has been common in our region.
