hi everyone! im new here, im going to petition my husband soon, he is from pakistan but he lives in the philippines (and thats where we met) with our son. i just have a question... if the US embassy will allow him to do the interview and all that at their consulate even though he is pakistani. he is currently on a student visa. i think its 95% okay because people from pakistan who lived in the philippines go to the US embassy in Manila to get tourist visas...does anyone know?

also, whats the cheapest way to send money to the philippines...in particular baguio city? i've used only western union so far...

I got a ITF [in Trust For] savings acoount for my wife when she still lived in the Philippines. ATM card comes with it. She only had to go to a ATM machine over there. $5 a $100. Also is GOOD for proving a bona fide marriage.

I don't know if all banks have them. Shop around,

PS! She didn't have to sign or have a SSN.

I use Western Union.

It's a flat rate of $12, no matter if it's $100 or $900

Welcome to VJ. I got Claudeth an ATM card that her parents still use. It only costs $1.50 for them to withdraw money.
