Hahhahahahaha! The lady posting is on VJ!

What is this about, not sure I understand, I certainly hope you are not laughing at someone's pain.

Certainly would not apply to anyone on V-J, as their relationships are different.

Sorry if you misunderstood. I'm laughing at this poster saying NO ONE on VJ has the problem the OP does. The OP is on VJ!!!

Guarens there are MANY other ladies having the same problem. I've seen a LOT myself!

Garans ballberans brah!!!

I guess my comment appeared to be about Haole, but in actuality it was directed to desert fox. He thrives on this. How heartless a person must be to make this situation into a sarcastic joke.

I see no joy in this. I feel sad for anyone who finds out that they were used.

But....in this culture, and even more so in the Arab culture, there are not many 25 yr old single guys looking for a woman 8-12 yrs older with three kids. That alone whould tell you to look out.

But in defense of you all that have this red flag, at least you post here and share and ask and know that it could be a potential problem. This would make you the smarter ones of all going thru this problem. At least you are aware of it. Just think of all the ones who arent aware of VJ and are going thru this. Im with the Consulate on this for all that have these and other red flags....they simply do not believe. Im sure that you are committed to the relationship, and Im sure they question the committment of the other half and want a ton of proof.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

I do apologize if I have judged you harshly. I do agree that the original posters concerns are valid, and yes, many men that marry a woman that are not equal in age or looks are probably looking for a GC. The ones we have posting here on VJ are such a small percentage as comparison to the actual amount of applicants. I just wish there was a place for people to share this story before they reach this decision.

I doubted my husband sincerity from day one, and played with him for amusement. I found out that his interest were indeed real and now I feel the guilt of playing with his heart. This really made me no better than the ones that are using women for the exalted GC. I am just glad that he forgave me once I realized he was for real.

Thank you but no apology is necessary. Im about as cynical as they come.

I am a big fan of dark humor and think laughing is great for the soul, I guess I missed the joke, but lately I am not with it. To be honest, I just want to kick the scum that did this to her, or any one that profits off someones love. When my long term marriage went south I was the nicest person, let him keep everything I walked out with the clothes on my back, but I realize I am also very bitter and forever changed. So when I see one of my sisters, and I do think of these woman as sisters, something deep inside of me turns evil, I want blood. To take advantage of someone's kindness, it just makes me crazy. I just love talking revenge, sometimes just thinking evil thoughts helps a little, you don't have to do anything, but just thinking of this man in a prision with some fellow loving inmates, yes that makes me smile. I think he would get along with these friendly guys. Some of these dudes are in my family and they would love to hear the story of heart break they have ways to take care of trash.

Bottomline is to enjoy life all you can. My first trip to the Philippines was to meet a lady I met online. After 2 weeks I discovered she was a complete scammer!

She was a lot younger than me and beautiful with a tight hard body. I had a GREAT time with her and she was worth EVERY penny I spent on her.

Bottomline is you older women with a younger trim man enjoy him all you can while it last. Who knows it may last a long time.

If not get as much as you can before he gets his GC!!

Take a break and then go get another!

To Heartland, I am sorry to hear that this happened to you.

I hope you will get through what comes with ease and that you will find much better things in your future.

There were times when I felt paranoid about this issue - how could one not after reading here or on EgyptSearch for any amount of time? It is a topic that is brought up often enough and probably most here have one sign that has happened, if not more, and yet that doesn't mean they will or are being used.

Since it turns out I'm moving to my husband's country, there's no possible way he can use me for a green card. He won't be getting one.

In any case, I have gotten more from my husband that I will have lost if something happens.

Insha'Allah we will have a happy and long life together.

I wish the same for everyone else here.

I agree. I'm going to enjoy my young man for as long as I can. ;-) However, I would be terribly upset if he ever left me. :-( I feel very sorry for the OP and my prayers are with her. I agree with other posters that it would be more helpful if she could post her experience.
