Hello VJ members,

I posted a letter on the day we were approved on 12/29/08, but I have no idea where it went. The e-mail notification for approval notice came in on Dec. 29 for both I130 and I129f. Even though it took a while for the approval, it is a relief once you get it. I hope for the rest of you who are waiting to get your approvals in a jiffy. Happy New Year and Good Luck.

Congratulations Sam ! :dance: It is always good to hear about new approvals especially during the holiday season. I hope this is just the beginning of a flood of approvals from VSC in the New Year.

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
