You can apply for your wife to have a tourist visa but that does not guarentee her admittance into the United States. So it does not matter when your wife applies for a tourist visa

i sent my i 130 today....i dont know why but i am reallly nervous. I am scared that i missed something even though i checked it a 100 times. (Getting the picture the right size was a real problem)

Oh Cr**. I sent the application straight to the vermont service center. Thats what it said on the application instructions, so i just followed that. Right now i was going through the notes on visa journey and read it should go to chicago. What do i do now?

oh no...you were suppose to send it to the USCIS chicago box addresses....maybe they will send it back to you and you can resend it...

The problem with sending another PETITION package is that they may not refund your first fee.

I originally sent mine to Vermont (and I live in Chicago). It was returned with the check endorsed (had to get another check)....then I found VJ,

and the process went much smoother from there.

Not much you can do. MAYBE if you have a tracking number they can intercept the package, but otherwise you'd be risking your fee if you send in another petition.

If time is more important, then by all means, send in another package.

what a way to start the process....i feel like an idiot. I called usps but they are useless. Will call again tomorrow and try to have them send it back to me.

You should NOT feel like an idiot. Nobody is perfect.

Yeah, the USPS isn't really setup to handle exceptions. But I think you'll be absolutely fine.

She is from the UK. Ok i am sending the following stuff , pls have a look and tell me if this is enough:

1. Completed and signed form I-130

2. Check for I-130 filing fee ($ 355)

3. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (Ben)

4. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (Pet)

5. Copy of my U.S Passport to prove U.S citizenship

6. Copy of my birth certificate

7. Copy of our marriage certificate

8. Copy of beneficiary’s passport

9. Copies of Emails, pictures, Phone Log and air tickets for proof of marriage

Do you think this will suffice if i send it to the write address?

Are you sure about that, on the form it says "USCIS

P.O. Box 804616

Chicago, IL 60680-4107 ....can some one please confirm.
