Not to begrude anyones happiness at all but if your not outraged - your not paying attention.

May the New Year bring NOA2's fast & furious for all us.

I am considering starting a letter-writing campaign to my senators and anyone else I can think of. Granted I have not been waiting nearly as long as some people here (who I really feel bad for because being separately from your loved ones is never easy) but enough is enough with the K3 applicants at VSC being the only ones subjected to long and inexplicable delays.

If CSC can be processing August K3s, if VSC itself can be churning out K1 approvals for people who filed in September, while transferring standalone I-130 applications (as recent as the ones filed in September) to CSC and approving May or later standalone I-130 applications by themselves, what is the reason they have been stuck working on March K3s for the last several months ? They have barely started working on April and unless they start clearing 2-3 months worth of applications in each month from now, they will never be able to catch up.

I called the congress womans office AGAIN today and asked them to find out why the June, July and August transfers are getting approvals before the VSC leftovers are being approved. He seemed annoyed with me but I didn't care. He told me he can request that my file be transferred to CSC but he didn't recommend it.

I'M SO FRUSTRATED.

Not only do I miss my husband but it is really creating a financial hardship for my family with him not being here. I wanted to fly down to Costa Rica at the end of January but it doesn't look like I will be able to afford it. :crying::ranting:

I completely feel your pain. I know that you must be frustrated by name because you have been waiting for such a long time. This is so damned crazy and it makes you wonder about that damn K3. That is what bothers me when I look at others that have gotten approved in August and you have been waiting for quite some time.

As the New Year comes, I hope that it brings you an approval very soon. Please keep your head up and hang in there. Your time will come soon Stac.

Serendipity- They probably moved our files to the back of the warehouse.... I haven't been touched since. All these people are getting multiple touches and our files just sit. UGHHHHHH. I wonder how they decided what files got tranferred and what files to leave in the black hole at VSC.

I'm not comparing my situation to yours, but last month I made a $7000 payment on my credit card. I looked back at my online payment history...$60,000 to my continental mastercard this year!!! Because I visit my husband every other month. Not to mention having to get a whole wardrobe, toiletries, etc to keep in my apartment in Amsterdam. Even things like pots and pans...they all add up when you have to live a freakin double life!!! I feel sorry for those who are struggling making 2 rent payments or 2 mortgage payments, when they could be living together and saving that money for their future!!!

Thanks to VSC and USCIS!!!

It would have literally been faster for me, if I moved to Cali, established residence, and did our papers and finished... than what I've been waiting for this NOA2!!!!

Yep, Last February I refinanced my house to get Money to pay off my credit cards and have money for the immigration attorney. We needed an attorney due to our "unusual issues". I have been to Costa Rica 7 times within the last year. I am fortunate enough to be able to stay with my mother-in-law or my husbands cousin when I am there. But I don't get paid when I am not working, so I lose $800.00 per week when I go. Plus the plane ticket and the cost of food and taxi's and bus fare. My kids stay here so I also have to buy phone cards to call the United States. The last few times I went, I brought my laptop. I was able to tap into the wireless internet from the chevrolet dealer across the street. I was able to chat on AOL and MSN Live with my kids. Phone cards are like $6.00 for only 18 minutes. Its crazy.

Now, if my husband was here it would be so much better financiallyand in every other way !. I don't understand what the hold up is at VSC. I read a thread from a former employee at one of the service centers and he was saying it really only takes 15 miuntes to process and approve a file ( if it is a straight forward case)

If they are transferring so many files to CSC, and they are approving files that are from July and August, then what is the issue??? My NOA1 for my CR-1 is June 23rd. I saw a July file get approved recently that got transferred to CSC. It makes me so MAD.

Yeah sweetie, that's exactly what I'm talking about. We lose a lot of money on these things. It's not just an airplane ticket like so many people think. It's alot of little things. I have not even calculated what I lose from taking time off from work. It's too depressing!!!

Its not like I can afford it. Its because my heart hurts without him. I have a house and bills and three kids here in the states. I am pretty lucky that my job lets me take whatever time I want to go see him BUT like I said... I don't get paid when I am with him. My husband's grandmother always asks me why I don't stay for a few months... She is really old and maybe she just doesn't understand. Its not like I don't want to.
