Tried adding this to my last post, but vj would not let me.

My husband is taking a CNA course and it is amazing how the cultural difference make studying here in America more difficult. I could pass this class just on general knowledge on our health care system. He has to study twice as hard as other.

One major difference in the health care systerm that in Nigeria only the walthy can afford to go to the hospital. They do not have the luxury as us americans to enter. They have to pay in advance to get a card that is just to enter the hopsital. Then you have to pay up front for the services. Many people in that country go home to die versus going to the hospital. So going to the hospital is a last resort for Nigerian people.
