Okay but my fiancee being a man. Never made any copies of the checklist because I asked him. he just mailed it in. I said did you make copies he said no. Do I call the london embassy and ask for another packet 3 and send it again. It already has been over a month since he sent the packet 3 in.

We got some great news today, Nic’s interview is on March 25th. Thank you so much everyone for being so kind and supportive. Thank you to Talyss for your suggestions because I did everything and it all worked. Amazing how with a small amount of nagging they found our packet 3, put it in the system and got an interview date so quickly. My happy is back and even better I know those on a similar timeline will be getting their interviews any day now. Oh I am in such a great mood, I hope this is a good sign for everyone that all the cases will lean towards positive results.

ahh that is great news caminic I didnt get any news today for my fiancee and his date I was going to have him send in another checklist in the mail tomorrow and make it return receipt requested this time because he didnt do it last time. And this time I had him put down a travel date because when he sent that packet 3 letter in he didnt have his medical at first. I called dos today they didnt have it in the system but they did have his medical report. So do you think it is a good idea I have him send that packet 3 checklist in again or should I wait.

Ok guys, maybe I am getting worried for nothing...and you all are the best ones to tell me that!

My fiance put Date of travel: April 17, 09 and Date of marriage April 24, 09. Should we already be assigned an interview date by now? I forgot what I read somewhere on this site about how London assigns interview dates. I am going to call DOS today and ask them whether we have been assigned an interview date yet, but I get the feeling they probably have not. I know they got my Packet 3, but I was getting worried about whether they put it in the system or not, especially since skeez&titanic and Caminic experienced a bit of stress regarding this. Anyone know how soon London assigns interview dates for the next month? We are expecting an interview date in the first week of April based on the information we gave them for the marriage and travel dates, but should we write a letter to the embassy like skparker did specifically requesting an interview date in the first week of April?

He has tried but the embassy wont read it and sent it back. They gave him a code and everything but it wasnt read.

i called DOS ystday they said that "you are eligible for an interview, it just takes them time to find the dates" .. so I guess MARM you just have to hold on and wait.. urghhh!

What we did is composed a letter about how long it had been and said that the DOS recommended re-sending packet 3, which they did, along with a complete copy of packet 3. Personally if it is not too much trouble I would sent another and include a letter. I also sent an email with the code to the embassy and no response, but within hours of them receiving a second packet 3 it was in their system and we had an interview date. You can wait if you want, but we couldn't anymore, the people at the DOS and the embassy sounded way too worried that nothing was in the system. I was very polite in the letter and let them know details and that we would expect a response soon on details for the reasons of delay on our case. I don't think it will be much longer before you have your interview date though.

Yeah I am going to have him resend packet 3 I also had him put down a travel date because he didnt put one before. I called the dos today twice and they both said they have the medical but no packet 3 which he sent in two weeks before the medical. And this time I will have him send it return receipt requested so we know they got it. I just hope we hear something soon it makes me nervous because my noa2 expires in May. And the stress is killing me now. So I think it wont hurt sending another packet 3.
