My friend got married to a U.S. citizen but their marriage are not working out.

She is very nervous of being separate or divorce him because she said it will jeopardized her stay here in the u.s.

He cheating on her online and talking to many women.

She found out who he is after they are married already and she thought she is stuck in the marriage on top that the immigration suspected the marriage as "foul play" and having it second interview for her gc.

The officer tells my friend's husband after the file to remove the conditon of her gc they will have to face the judge to see if the marriage is not a sham.

That's the other reason why she feels she is stuck in the marriage because of this.

The u.s. citizen often says to her he wanted a divorce in a way she was being threatened her stay here in the U.S. whenever she suspected him having an affair or cheating he will play the games of divorce topic on her but she have no other way than to stay with him and ask him if he love her and he would say he does and do not want a divorce but still cheat on her and always backstab her...

Question is...would she stay being a martyr until the end or file the divorce and probably nothing will happen?

She just not happy anymore and always depressed, she is just "stuck"

Get an attorney the way I see it, he is abusing her mentally knowing that what he can do to her. It's a threat t but if she get the right attorney, she can win this case and throw the relationship away. Why suffer everyday thinking that he can abuse you mentally... check other options.

Tel her to think rationally - USA is not such a big deal - to live in or stay in or be a citizen of (despite what anyone may say).

She should think of 1) Her happiness 2) Her security

Get out and help yourself. Everything is of secondary importance.
