*Interrupted a drug deal in my apartment parking lot and got a death threat. I pulled into my spot and went to the passenger's side to get my groceries. The people in the car next to me were shooting me looks of death as I was next to their car, and I noticed bags of white powder and money being exchanged. They told me to walk away or they'd kill me  I need to move.

 OMG!

Bridget you're probably getting our storm! Many schools are closed today and even my library is closed. The only thing is I was supposed to take most of today as a vacation day, so I'm sure they're going to make me keep it as a vacation day and not pay me a snow day. I was robbed!!! :P

I have a Christmas party to go to tonight in downtown though. It's at Fogo De Chao, a Brazilian steakhouse. Yum.

We need a good steakhouse in our area. We have a Bugaboo Creek and an Outback but that's about 1/2 drive from here. My favorite steak has always been at this one steakhouse in Aruba. I forget the name of it but oh boy is it goooooood!!! Nothing so far has even come close!

Are they tame dolphins that have trainers who bring them up to you? We swam with dolphins in an open pool in Florida, and they just swam around and didn't come close. I know a lot of the resorts will have them trained to come up to you, which would be a lot cooler.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

If anyone wants snow, I'd be glad to send some. Heck, I'll trade places with you! We're expecting snow just about every day for the next few weeks. There are a few places in Northern Minnesota where it's been snowing for 19 days straight.

Glad I put the car into the garage last night. The sidewalks have about an inch of ice then snow on top of that. Watch out doods, its coming your way!

Gonna curl up tonight with Twilight and a cup of hot chocolate :)

So far are there any wicked inappropriate things in that book? I used to read all of the kids' books before I let them read them but that was when the books took 1/2 hour or so to read. I realize there will be kissing, etc. but I just don't want it to go too far for her since she's actually pretty innocent in that area.

Twilight is a good book for teenage girls, nothing too over the top as far as sex scenes, just good old fashion love story between a human, vampire and werewolf, sounds wrong doesn't it. lol I just finished the third book, and will read the 4th book after I finish my Beatles book. I love to read, but Twilight is not as dark as I like, no bodies really, no blinding revenge, you know the things I love. lol
