Card received today from VSC!

I rarely post, but given all the delays at the VSC , I wanted to let you all know that my wife received her approval notice from the VSC on Dec 17th stating that card production had been ordered.

We were even more surprised when the actual 10 year greencard arrived in the mail today.

She did the biometrics in Feb 2008, no RFE, no interview, and it took almost 10 months exactly from the time she did biometrics.

We're glad this part of the journey is behind us.

:star: Congratulations, Jtinatl for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 11 months wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Jtinatl!

Good luck too on your Citizenship application and the rest of your immigration journey!

Congratulations :thumbs: Claudeth got her 2-year card the day after she received the notice but the 10-year was a week later.
