Wow! Good Job! I just drove myself a bit nuts writing down everything I need to get done before the 13th. I'm thinkin Wes is going to get dragged out shopping once he's here cuz I have way too much to clean this weekend, and I know if I don't my parents will freak.

I also just realized just how much time a day I spend lurking on these forums >< I did notice though I rarely venture out of the Canadian boards whereas before I hardly came in.

:lol: I haven't ventured into OT yet, I mainly hung around in the K1 board reading up on stuff there to make sure I'm not going to screw anything up (I'm so paranoid that I will do something wrong and get stuck forever) but certain members scared me out of their with their harsh responses.

Pushbrk doesn't venture in to OT, so no worries there. Unfortunately longcoolone ? might respond though. His posts are enough to keep me out of there completely. I haven't read enough of his stuff to decide if he is really that much of a jerk or if he is just playing a part.

I'm not bothered by, nor scared of, Pushbrk in the least. He offers very sound advice. The problem appears to be in how some receive his delivery...... they seem to get a bit defensive since his advice is not wrapped in fluffy kittens.

True, I find him to be absolutely rude sometimes though, but he doesn't bother me anymore either (he did when I first joined VJ). You are right though, sometimes people find different people abrasive and rude and for others it doesn't seem so bad to them.

I'm going to post this pic, but Marilyn might get hooked on the webcam again !

Congrats on the tickets!!

On my way to class, figured I would stop in and see what Circuit City had. Nothing but #######!! And the prices sucked. i was looking at Ink cartridges for my Canon printer,and they were reduced only like a whole $1.25!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
