So this morning a member called in and asked me if we had found his light brown sports coat. So I looked in the lost and found and said: "No we have a light brown blazer..." and he said: "No this is a sports coat"

So I told him I'd talk with the F&B manager and get back to him.

Anyways he just called back now and asked me and I said: "Well all I have is the light brown blazer...and it has two buttons at the bottom"

And he goes: "Like a sports coat"

Oh is that what a sports coat is??

I had no clue. I figured a sports coat was something more sporty than formal.

I can laugh at myself at least.

But I decide to tell my coworkers and figure they can laugh too and of course it comes with a snide remark about how Canadians don't know anything. Gah why do I even bother.

UGHHH!

Okay so maybe it is a difference in American/Canadian speak... because I have always known it to be a blazer or a jacket too. A sports jacket is not a blazer! I mean I guess it is now that I am down here but I never knew it as that.

I would have LOVED to have seen the naked guy!

I grew up during a time when "streaking" was all the rage. OMG, that was the BEST. Especially when it happened during a football game or something. The crowd went wild.

I know one guy who did it on a dare. He got dropped off at one end of the mall and was told the getaway vehicle would be waiting for him at another set of doors on the other side. So he left his clothes in the car, ran into the mall and out the other side...... and his buddies weren't there! Priceless.

My sister's husband (then boyfriend) did it with one of his buddies. They just jogged through the mall with their t-shirts tied around their necks and their running shoes on (no one wore socks in those days) and a big grin on their faces. OMG, we HOWLED. And then one of his buddies called the local radio station, so the announcer came on saying "This is dedicated to Kenn and MadDog, who just streaked through Hopedale Mall." And then they played "Running Bear".

We had fun when I was growing up. lol

There used to be an adversitising company that would rent out streakers at majot sports events with your company logo on their bodies.

Well, gee I don't know about that Nevada - wouldn't it be correct to say it is a sport's jacket? I presume he plays Golf and I guess Golf is a type of sports.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
