Well today is off to a good start.

Last evening we received the lawn sign from our community that announces "Most Beautiful Lawn of the Month" award for our neighbourhood. We have won this every year for the past 5 years for either July or August but this is the first time we have won it for June. Since we are nominated by our neighbours it is always nice to get!

Today I drove into Atlanta earlier for the biometrics appointment for my naturalization application. I left at 7:15 and traffic wasn't as bad as I expected (stop start for about half of the distance instead of all of the distance). I arrived at 8:25 and they let me in at 8:30 for my 9 o'clock appointment. Everything went smoothly and I was actually finished at 9 and on my way back home.

It is hot again and humid today so I weeded the front garden (felt guilted into doing it by the award sign, hehehhehe) and am going to spend the rest of the day going through the various files and boxes of my 6 year immigration journey and see what I want to keep and what I want to toss. There is a lot of stuff from preparing for the move and such that I really don't need anymore and file storage is at a premium. I have 3 large file boxes of immigration related stuff and I am going to try and get it down into one box only.

And - I also had my Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla coffee with double cream and sweetner - so I am good to go! (Had 2 munchkins as well, hehehe).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

They deserve the same rights as everyone else. As soon as everyone realizes that being gay is not a choice the sooner that they'll understand why they deserve equal rights.

Yes indeed. I think I'm extra sensitive on the topic as I watched Milk last night, made me feel sick and sad inside that we live in this bigot filled society

Yes, i'm sure so many people have chose to be ostrasized and singled out for bigotry and ridicule for years.

I don't see how people don't get it. It's a matter of human rights, not a protection of marriage. We've already proven in our own history here in the U.S. that "Separate but equal" is neither.

On another note, I'm sorry Kathryn and Krikit....... that troll was just too tempting. Like ducks on a pond.

Without going to the site I'm assuming it's pirated software, given the conversation. It's a TOS violation to "Post any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret or other proprietary right of any party."
