I am completely heartbroken today.. just heard from a friend back home who delivered a baby boy on wednesday and buried him on Friday.. I feel so flipping helpless being here and she's back home.. i can't be there to just cry with her, can't help her with her other 2 kiddos, can't cook a meal.. I'm so frustrated about that today :(

:crying: How awful.... it's so hard to be away from friends and family in times of need, especially.

Oh, how sad! What a hard task for her and for you not being able to be there.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Just heard a woman call over for her kid to meet her at the community relations window in the lobby at work. She called out to little.......... Jumanji. She was explaining to the lady that she heard it somewhere when she was pregnant and thought it was a beautiful name for her son. He's 8 years old, so it's well after the movie came out.

It was funny because I was in the lobby and I heard the name, so I had to get closer to listen, to make sure that I hadn't misheard what she said. I was standing there, with nothign to do and she turned around to leave. It was like getting caught staring at a woman's boobs.

The weirdest ones I've heard are the woman who named her kids R2D2 and C3PO, and the other woman who named her son Latrine.

Haha if only you guys knew some of the names I was planning on naming my son... the best was: "Corgan" after my musical hero Billy Corgan.

I honestly thought that's what I was going to name him, a friend of mine even made me a blanket with the name "Corgan" on it.

However my mother was quick to remind me a couple of weeks before I gave birth of a promise I made to her when I was a child that she could name my first born. I guess it's a good thing I kept my word.
