I like the house. I think it looks cozy. I am partial to tile floors also. So much easier to upkeep, and if you have pets, helps with the hair. I like the yard, its so bright and happy looking.

I agree MrsCat - do you have tile floors in your place?

Carla - umm we don't do grass really

Unfortunately, we have carpet. Very old smelly carpet. :crying:

But the house we might be moving to has tile floors. It helps keep the humidity down, and the house cool.

Odd because in Alberta, I dreaded tile floors and hated them because they were always so darn cold in the winter. Love them here though!

I just posted this in the passport thread and wanted to use this thread to kind of bump it, in case people don't read it. It's some new information that I got today regarding those of us that are changing our name on our passports.

2 more weeks till I go visit my honey! Its been 4 months since the last time we saw eachother since he had to go back on his tour oversea's.

Now im just nervous about POE at the airport - hard to say 'I dont work' when they ask what I do, lol (im a stay at home mom - living off child support (get a good chunk), child tax benefit until I get the CR1 once we apply and if approved.

So Im gonna bring my return ticket, my travel insurance, custody papers (ex dh will watch the kids), and my bank statement showing my mortgage payment, and bills that I pay online.

Have a great trip! And don't be too chatty with the POE if you can help it.

It was weird, during my last trip, the POE officer asked me how we'd met and I said...on an online game, sort of like World of Warcraft but korean. Then the officer yelled a samurai war cry (or the equivalent) then let me through. It was VERY interesting to say the least. >_>

I know! I wasn't sure whether he was allowing me or denying me, so I sort of backed away and then he waved me through. It was definitely my best border crossing experience. :D
