Thanks Danu and thanks everyone for your happy house hunting thoughts

Good morning all. I have houses on my mind so when I wake up at 6:00 there is no going back to sleep! The mortgage broker didn't call me back yesterday bah!

Good Morning Every-One.

A late attachment to my laptoppy this morning....a great thing to note.

Sorry to hear Trailmix. Do you need someone to go and kick some...?

My sweetie and I are going to check out Milwaukee today and see what there is to see.

I would love to see that road that Laverne & Shirley walked on...and Lenny & Squiggy.

I loved that show when I was a kid.

Nice day in the DC area, +6C now. was -3C at 0800 when I was out on my 5 mile run, which is actually nice running weather. Time to study.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Well, let my mom follow us up to King of Prussia and then sent her on her way today. :(

We'll see her again in 3 weeks for Easter and Ethan will be going up for Spring break. Then we came back and went out for breakfast at this great diner in Haddonfield.

This afternoon we're going out shopping for spring and summer clothes for all of us and Ethan is using the money his grandma gave him to buy a new game for his PSP.

We're also gonna also fix the balcony up later, we bought these cute lantern lights at wegmans last night and its gonna be awesome. I can see myself spending every nice warm day out there. :D

A fun busy day. Hope you are all doing well. :)

Well, Joe had to have his hair cut today so we went over to the local army base where he gets a great deal - only one style but heck he doesn't have much hair left anyway (VBG) - and garage saled along the way. We got some great deals, including a lovely wood bookshelf, a small wood washstand, a laser printer, a whole bunch of really nice shirts for Joe, lots of books (always books), some dishes and some knicknacks. I don't think we could get much more into the car, hehehehe! The only problem is, we have a lot of extra stuff that we keep adding to so we are really going to have to have our own garage sale soon - so we can get some room back in the garage for the car, hehehe.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Good morning everyone! Thank you for the lovely coffee :D

I'm having a so-so day, parts of it are good, parts of it are driving me crazy, but rather than ruining a beautiful thread I will post the other bits in the vent.

I got a new video card for my computer because I was having severe lag issues in WoW (I'm sure the games will understand). Popped it in, everything is soooo pretty now. Going to upgrade my other parts next week probably (an expense I wasnt really ready to have but it needs to be done) so then everything will be super fast and shiney, will be like having a whole new computer!

Ethan is officially outfitted and ready for hockey. He's been begging me to play hockey for years so Mike and I recently found a minimal travel team that plays out of Voorhees at the flyers skate zone. I don't know what to think, I just don't want his handsome face to get messed with... I don't want him to lose a tooth etc. :P

We have a cousin in the NHL and he is missing a few teeth. I don't want Ethan to lose any teeth and I am well aware that its kids and its safer but still.

Anyways we went all over the place today and bought him his equipment, wish he could have chosen a cheaper sport but he didn't want any of it. He wanted hockey. If he sticks to this then I'll pay the 2000.00 to have him join the local pee wee team next year but right now its minimal travel, short season. I am not going to commit if he doesn't, and he's been known not to commit to things and get sick of it fast, so thats mostly why I was stubborn about it. :P

But with the price of equipment he better commit. No wonder why these parents put so much pressure on their kids.

^ Wowsers. $2000. He'd better start collecting popcans. But hockey is a great team sport. Make sure you buy him a mouth guard to protect those teeth.
