Hubby's away this week.. and you know while he's away cats will play...

His ex gave him a "parting" gift of dishes when she kicked him out.. they were a cheap set of dishes. I craiglisted them for free this afternoon and bought some new dishes that belong to "us".. not "her" :)

My son and I are sitting on the couch looking at the list of free movies offered on Comcast's 'ON DEMAND' thingy. He was saying how he wanted an action film so we're scrolling and all of a sudden he sees Annie... ANNIE! And he goes: "Oh my god mom lets watch Annie! Oh my god I love Annie! I just love Carol Burnett"

I just didn't think he knew a thing about Carol Burnett. :lol:

I personally hate Annie, but its an issue that stems from this girl in my 6th grade class getting the lead part in the play ONLY because she was a natural red head... she had NO talent. I was sooo mad. I put neet in her conditioner bottle during swim class one day.

Don't worry her hair didn't fall out.. it began to burn her scalp right away and she quickly rinsed it off.

Though at the time I was disappointed that my initial plan had foiled.

so my hubby and I made tentative plans for our anniversary this Friday.. we are thinking of going to a matinee viewing of "The Watchmen" (would only cost us $5 each to go see it :thumbs:) and then going for steak, maybe at Outback...
