k-2 issued

My fiance's k-1 and k-2 were issued and received. There is an error on the k-2. The gender is actually male and the passport says male. They printed female on the visa! My flights are already booked for Sat. Dec.13. The USEM says the new k-2 will not be reprinted for 24 hours. Can she still leave the Philippines and enter USA with the gender error. I was told by US airport authority as long as she has his birth certificate there would be no problem. Any help please???

If you don't have time to get it reprinted, I would just have them get on the plane. It's a single use visa and you have all the documentation you need with a birth certificate. Then you can deal with the error after US entry. They can see picture of the male on the visa and compare it to the male picture on the passport. I doubt anybody will even look close enough to see the gender on the visa.
