Just wanted to let everyone know that I've made some changes to the "Stuck AP@NVC" statistics site....

The new link to use is now: http://apnvc.nxserve.net/StuckAPatNVC.html

The old link is officially retired.. you will get a 404 error if you try to use it. I've updated the link in my .sig (below) so it's easy to follow the new link from any of my VJ posts.

The advantages to the new layout are (a) the program runs in the background hourly updating from the VJ database. This means the stats page is just a simple text html file and will load for you much more quickly. This is a much more efficient design all around. (b ) I've moved the "leftovers" record to a separate page, linked off the main page. This makes it easier to scroll through the records we really want to see (imho) (c ) I put the K3s before the K1s.

Try it out, let me know what you think. There will be more changes coming up in the coming days/weeks for some other things I want to add.

I think the hosting service (nxserve.net) seems to be a bit more stable now. Apparently they were going through a cleanup activity last week which accounts for all the downtime. Hopefully they're done with that now!

Thanks Ron, your new code is much faster now and web page is easier to read.

It's a comfort to be here amongst friends who are also separated with their loved ones.

Best wishes to Joe and Nadya for release this week!

Ron,

The link wouldnt open for me.

Steve,

Any day now (F)

Joe and Nadya, you guys are due also soon right?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

WOW, I just lost it on the operator at NVC, my case will probably be lost forever now!

You are not alone my friend, it is impossibly frustrating that the NVC can employ such a cruel and abusive policy.

NVC AP is the 'gitmo' for lovers in my humble opinion, without VJ, it could drive people insane.

Perhaps we can unite, voice our opinions to appeal to congress to allow for a more gentler, kinder policy.

When good citizens, honorable veterans as well as active duty military are all treated as terrorist suspects,

we need a more effective and efficient security process. (in my humble opinion).

But take some comfort in knowing that you will be released from AP and will be together with your beloved.

I guess I will join this group also, received NOA2 on 23 March, NVC received my packet on 24 March, got the case number on 24 March, and then I made that dreaded phone call,"you are currently in AP". Wow so I asked could I expedite since I am deployed with the US Army, and they asked was i expedited through VSC I replied yes, and she gave me the email address to request expedite, that was Monday, and I'm just waiting to hear something.

GOOd luck to everyone here im happy for u guys :dance::dance:

We're still stuck at NVC sounds im AP...hope they release me :crying::crying::crying:

rymusic04, pgp, Mford019, foreverlove - you are welcome here. I'm sure you'd rather not be stuck here, but at least you know you're not alone.

It seems that even as we get new releases from NVC - they are intent on filling the queue with new 'stuck' people as well. Oh well.

Some of you guys are very near to getting out.It should be just a matter of days for you at this point.

You can track your progress at the link below. It was down for a while today, but it seems to be back up now.

I guess that's what happens when you host at a free webserver (I chose nxserve.net), there's absolutely no control over when they choose to shut it down :(. I may start looking around for a more stable place to host.

Good luck to everyone - hope you all get out soon!

Nadiya and Joe, and deonila & stephen douglas -if you guys don't get out today you absolutely MUST be out on Monday- I command it!! :diablo:

Thank you, Ron!!! Your command worked out for us :)

About the site, yes, it works much better. And you can added to approved cases at NVC :)

Really happy for you guys

The statistics page updates automatically everyhour. So since you've updated your timeline, it will pick up the change next time the script update occurs.

Sorry everyone for the ongoing downtime today- it seems to be up right now. The problem is still the webhosting site nxserve.net. It's very unreliable, apparently. I guess you can't expect too much for a free site, right?

If it keeps up like this, I'll consider paying a few $$ for a site that has better support and more stable uptime.

Once again... congrats Joe & Nadya!!

Hope to see some more releases -- 'foreverlove' (deonila & stephen douglas) you guys should be next!
