STUCK @ NVC for AP

Lisa, oh you still in the adm process, its suchs this waiting. I called NVC today, again, they review our case still, then 16 th February. I had cancel my K3 visa interview this week too..

ya, but we're approaching the time where people usually get out. i think the operator saw a lilttle memo in our case that said.."hold for 55 days, per the quota", and thats why he said to call back.

so you cancelled the k3 interview? well i hope you get your cr1 wrapped up and scheduled soon!

hey guys, i called last night and i heard a different script. its something like.. "hi maam, it seems that we recieved your case from the USCIS last january 20 and we are currently processing it. we sent a notice to washington for further investigation on your case and as soon as we receive this, we will notify the petitioner and send it to the consulate. you will be contacted by manila consulate on how to schedule your interview but as of the moment, all we are waiting for is the response frm washington. that's it!" its the first time i heard that and i was hoping to hear something exiting at the last words of his sentence. their system was down yesterday morning tho but i tried calling every hour to check. hehe. dang!! how i wish im out of this NVC thang.

So far...me, at least in this thread. 7 weeks, four days..so 53 days all up. I hope no one else ever goes longer Not that I want the crown..lol...but I would hate to wish longer on anyone!

I mentioned Washington many pages ago in one of my posts. The NVC employee I talked to at the time had a bunch of problems with the English language, so I couldn't tell for sure what they were saying. It was something along the lines of this.

As for us, we didn't call yesterday.. maybe today we will and of course let you know about it But I don't know we will get positive result.

I just wonder how you count days, since NVC got your case or when you got notification letter? Should I count from 02/13 or 02/20?

If you know the date NVC received your case, then it's that what you use. Those letters mean nothing and are useless, since people seem to get them no matter what actually happens with their cases.

Thank you for explanations Well, our case arrived on 13 Feb..ok, almost two weeks at NVC.. And about the letter, I will need it because when I called to make an appointment for medical exam I was said to bring a paper where they can see my full name with case # ( KEV - ************* ) I thought it is enough to tell them only case # but it wasn't.

I think he was just trying to be nice lol We'll see, its day 49...he's probably right since the times are pretty consistent. Next week, we better be out...or I just might lose my sanity
