STUCK @ NVC for AP

I never got any letter saying we're at the NVC..just got the NOA2 approval letter...hmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm sure you'll get your letter within the next week.

We have to just try to have patience. This whole process is stressful. I found myself getting all worked up. I even deleted all my info on here at one point and was fed up. Then my future MIL and I had some confrontation after being friends for an entire yeah without incident. I had to take a break. So, if you are a K1 filer I suggest you focus on your wedding or read up on what comes after the interview so you are prepared when it comes time to file your AOS. K3's just focus on your paperwork too. We can't give the embassy any logical reason not to granted us/loved ones visas. Just wanted to share some thoughts and words of encouragement for everyone! Stay blessed....

Its hard to not think about this process, and not to sound like a witch, there is other life to do out there then NVC. Soon we will move from NVC to embassy, its just speed bump in this immigration nightmare.

I'm still in AP, i called. whatever. i cant handle this stress, really.

We got our NOA2 on 26th of August, 2009. I called NVC on:

Monday morning the 31st - I was told it was being processed and given the NVC case #.

Called back Tuesday morning - guy said was being processed to be transferred to the embassy

Called Weds and was told was needing some additional processing

Was sort of shocked as took Tuesday as good sign was being prepped for shipping

So did some reading of the horror stories on here and just can't do it ( I mean will it have too ) but this sucks

I am going to call back again this morning and see what they say again and if is same or even if is something different - I am going to ask my congressman to check into it for me to see what is going on

I figure by the time he acts on it - if is still there - will be ready to be screaming at someone

quick update - i called dos this morning after calling nvc - nvc still said same old song and dance right ?

so lady at dos was so nice - she said we are cleared and nvc is just waiting for next batch to go to embassy so should be within week - but we have cleared nvc according to dos

so why cant nvc say this and stop all the stress ??

What number did you call for Dept of State???? How long were you in AP at NVC????

The K3 still stuck at NVC in AP. Oh well, just waiting for case completion for the CR-1 at NVC.

but is nice knowing right ? that is just due process ? i mean is insane - nvc should just say what dos says - then is like no panic or stress

last night after reading this thread i was like ready to call out the national guard to barricade the nvc or something till i found out what was going on

we wait so patiently for the noa2 - lives on hold - doing ####### long distance - making best of things - keeping chin up - spending nights alone, doing stuff by ourselves, getting the "oh sure the imaginary long distance bf" looks ..lol lol - then noa2 comes and you are like omg omg omg - maybe is really going to happen - then this ####### - is enough to make one just crack ..lol

is amazing that someone has not gone postal on that place

I'm still in ap still....been 15 actual working days....counting it from like, monday-friday (5days) so its been since Friday the 14th/Aug so its been 15 working days....i AM slowly going postal..yes...very depressing...those people who filed the same time as me are already through if not in the USA now...i'm feeling like cussing every word in the book right now.
