Will I be able to travel out of the US after I become a citizen, but before I have a US passport? In other words, will a US citizen coming into the country with a EU passport cause issues?

Thanks.

Yes you will not be allowed to enter on a EU passport unless you have a valid visa and as a US Citizen you can not get a visa to enter the US you need your US passport. Dual Passport holders MUST use their US passport to enter the USA.
