Hon I left this for you elsewhere, but I don't know where you'll see it first, but this is my suggestion :

Honey I am so sorry but the first thought in my mind is that no matter WHAT they said, if I were you, I'd have him go back tomorrow and take the pictures. He may or may not be able to get inside without an interview appointment letter BUT I am sure that he can write a note on the front with your names and case number and direct them to the interviewer he had / leave them at the gate/ window. What's it going to hurt? No she didn't tell him to come back with them, BUT I'm sure they were only copies and you have your originals, so it won't hurt anything and it might help EVERYTHING! Just my thought but I'd have him do that tomorrow or ASAP ! I'm still praying and I'm thinking I agree with others if they wanted to deny they'd have done it out right but I would for sure run those pics back if possible. Don't even ask, just take them! xoxoxo

Breathe and we're all praying for you guys!! :luv:

I'm sorry I missed the party last night. I had to go get my father from the airport last night and then talked to my husband until late.

It sounds like the interview went fine and soon inshallah your SO will have his visa.

I have to agree with Ash. Don't just throw up your hands and say what will be will be. Have him take them, make sure they have your case number on it. Or at least send them an email apologizing for the forgotten pictures, and that he will be more than happy to take them in. Don't leave this to chance, you've waited to long to take chances.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Oh believe me, I emailed Casa the second he told me. And I also touched base with my Congressman this morning (he'd told me a month or two to call either way about the outcome) and he told me to give it a week and then let him know.

I'm thinking he won't be able to take them tomorrow. Prolly monday

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words

Ok, I got a reply from Casa about taking the pictures in. They said:

Thank you for your follow up inquiry. We require no additional documentation from you at this time. However the case still requires additional administrative processing. We will notify your fiancé as soon as the processing is complete.

So I guess we're just on AP now?

Can you call DOS to find out?

Ok, I called the DOS and she said oh he just had his interview.... his case is still open, there aren't any updates and it is just being reviewed. I said "Oh, so it needs more administrative processing?" and she said "exactly".....
