Hi,

My case got completed on 2nd of October and I got to know about the interview date on 6th of October (that was monday, start of 2nd week of the month).

So usually people get to know about their interview date from 2nd week of every month up to say 17th or 18th of that month.

About travel plans, please don't make it right away. I don't want to dishearten you or anything, but lately India has been putting a few of Male beneficiaries on AP, or anything else can happen like a missing document or anything, so its better to hold off till you know the interview result.

Also you can try buying tickets from Continental Airlines, from what I saw Mumbai to Chicago was going for $642; we didn't buy it because we had to get something for connecting flights too, but from travel agent told us Continental is the cheapest and costs almost remains the same. It doesn't matter if you are buying the ticket one month ahead or 3 days ahead of schedule with Continental airlines (according to the travel agent)

Yea, I wasn''t going to make any arrangements for him, I am talking about me. I wanted to get there before X-mas and stay through his interview date. I have been hearing a little about some of the AP for males in India. We will be sure we bring all documents with us. I am just praying to God that he can go back with me. We have all the relationship material out of the ying yang. (at least I hope so) I just hope they don't come up with the name/security check/more time to review documents or what ever else they can come up with.
