hi fellow vj's!!! my fiance got the notice from the nvc and i'm still waitng for my packet 3.does anyone have the same case with me and have you tried to call the embassy to have your appointment for interview without waiting for the packet 3?

how's it??please help!!!!!tnx in advance!!!

I check your timeline and it says that your papers left NVC on Dec. 1. Wait for a week or two, then call USEM call center and see if your papers have arrived. Then, you can get your interview sched.

Where is your place?? My fiance now my husband got a letter from NVC dated Nov. 1, and visited me Nov. 19 in the Phils, what we did we went to embassy to check it and we were given a new set of packet eventhough they already sent my packet. what happened was my packet went to different address, I am from Southern TAgalog and my packet went to Iloilo. I got my visa already and my packet travelled to Iloilo arrived 3 days after..

You better call the embassy and ask for your packet..It should be in your address 2 weeks after the letter from your fiance.

11-23-07- Medical though the exact date was Nov. 29..

01-18-08- Arrived in USA , POE-Guam

07-21-08- Date of AOS approval but got the letter July 24

No Interview, No RFE and Additional Vaccination( just used the SLEC medical docs)

07-22-08- Date of Permanent REsident CARd , got it July 29

07-31-08- apply for SSN

08-05-08-SSN delivery

As far as I know, effective April 2008 (I am not sure of the specific date of April), Packet 3 is no longer sent to the beneficiary. Instead, everything that's needed for the interview is available and downloadable online. However, USEM do send a letter informing the beneficiary about her eligibility for interview.

thanks!! my fiance is coming on the 7th and i told him to bring all the notices he got from the cis and nvc.i tink i'll wait for a week for two huh for my packet 3?if not i'll call the usem...thanks guys!!!you really gave me an idea!!!
