doxATL, my last bio was 01/18/08. It has been 1 month since I sent my N-400 application. Should I call USCIS?

den_y2005, the 30 days is from the day their received your application which is also your priority date in most cases. For example, I sent my application on 12/23/2008, but they received it on the 29th, so I start counting 30 days from the 29th. In my case I will call them again on Friday January 30th, which will be 31 days since they recived my application.

Saw a USCIS envelope in the mail just now. Biometrics already done, so I thought it could only be the interview letter. I was in great joy with a little disbelief that I beat you all to it LOL. Opened it, was just the stupid duplicate NoA1.

When I saw your name as last poster in this thread, I thought "Oh, here we go again, his nickname fits him right and he got the first interview notice." I hope I don't get a duplicate NOA because I can only imagine how disappointing it must be to get that letter and then opening it and finding out it's not an interview notice. But I wouldn't be surprised if you were the first one to get that letter in our December-filer-group. Soon we should have a winner, I hope.

When you start seeing the last of the November filers getting their interviews then you can start watching for our.

I can remember going through this anxiety on every step of this immigration process. You would think I would have more patience by now. I still check everything at least two times a day. I don't know what I am going to do with my life when this is all over. lol

I keep on telling myself that its out of my hands and I should be patient but no matter how much I say it, I check this thing ALL the time!!!

You would think going through 4 years of the residency process that I can wait for 6 months! (I hope thats the longest it will be!!!)

I am putting my money all of us getting them tomorrow

Looks like 13 people out of 26 currently have an Interview date from the NOVEMBER filers....they are moving right along.

Got done with fingerprints today. I was amazed how quick the process was. Appointment was at 2:00 pm, but we got there at 1:15 pm and were out at 1:35 pm. Now the wait is on for the interview.
