We have our NOA2 but do any of you Thailand K1 people out there think there will be problems with precessing due to the current situation in Thailand? If the NVC sends our info to the Bangkok embassy by mail, will there be a big delay due to the airports being closed by the protestors in Bangkok? Just thought I would ask what anybody thinks about this!! Thanks!

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

I would not think that it would cause a delay with the mail...having said that, I sure am hoping it is all back to normal by the end of the month. I have a flight to BKK on the 29th and sure hope I can get there. I have had this ticket purchased since last May! I am still waiting on our NOA2 and the time line indicates a mid-December comb through. I have my fingers crossed. It would be great to be able to go to the interview with her, but I doubt if it goes that fast even if it is looked at in a couple of weeks. Good luck. Rex

Rex, Good luck with everything! I am off to Thailand on Jan 6th. Hope all goes well for both of us and anybody else out there reading this!

I'm leaving here on the 7th myself. Had to change from Dec. 3rd, then after

I changed my flight, they opened the airport. Enough to piss ya off......
