Name Change Absolutely Necessary?

According to some religious/cultural beliefs, a woman does not take on her husband's last name after marriage. If the USC wife chooses to keep her last name and not change it to her husband's last name after marriage, will it become an issue during AOS? (Foreign male Fiance coming here on K-1, and marrying USC female)

No, because you are the USC. But, your intended spouse may realize problems when referencing you in most collateral "daily business related" situations....

Examples include: Bank accounts, credit apps, leases, utility accounts, home loans, etc....

You can overcome these issues with proper documentation.

You can keep your name. Nobody forces you to take your husbands name no matter if you are the USC or not. It's no issue.

Depends on the country... ;)

Yes, it does but this is the K1 forum so the couples are getting married in the USA, where taking the husband's name is purely optional.

Agreed if applicable, but the generalization was responded to apropos.
