Good day to all.My fiance mother received the NOA2 last Nov 21, 2008 and it was dated Nov. 13, 2008.

My fiance is in Iraq and all the paperworks are being prepared by my future mother in law.

After NOA2 (approval letter) what are the things to do next?

Should I call now the NVC to inquire if i already have case number?or just wait for the mail?

should I still pay the DV?and how to schedule for an appointment in the embassy?

Does my fiance need to call the US Embassy to shedule for an appointment?

Thank you for the replies.Godbless

Your fiancee can call NVC and ask if you have already the mnl case #,after that call the USEM to schedule for appointment...If the NOA2 hard copy received, ask your fiancee to scan or ask for a copy cuz you can use that for your medical...goodluck..

The I-129F petition will go to NVC only to be touched and then sent to the embassy. You will probably not do much with the NVC. Your fiance will collect all pertinent documents...police reports, visa application, birth certificate, etc.
