Hi, can anyone share your status?

Our I-751 was sent at the end of Jan 2008. Our service center is VSC.

On line status shows it was received on 02/05/08 and pending for approval. However since it was touched once after the biometrics on 03/13/08, it has not been touched or updated. VSC processing time on I-751 is now at 12/30/07.

Just wondering if anyone who has similar case time has got any update on your case? How many months more do we have to wait? Has anyone who submitted yours at the same time as we did but luckily got approved already?

Please, see "VSC I-751 status list" thread on this same forum. You'll have an idea of the processing time they're taking to deal with our cases. FYI they're now reviewing cases filed in Dec'07 and they're going VERY slowly. So, I guess your case will be reviewed in 40-60 days or so...

Good luck!

Right - there have been no approvals yet for any applications submitted to Vermont or transferred to Vermont that were filed in 2008. They are still working on 2007 cases - mainly December, but there are still applicants who filed earlier in 2007 who are not yet approved. January 2008 is coming - I have been wondering if they will finish 2007 before moving on to 2008 or continue into January while still finishing 2007. Time will tell.

Thank you everyone for sharing.

It's really slow at VSC. It seems it might take 12 or 13 months for them to process. Hopefully it won't be longer than that...

We probably will file citizenship application at the end of Jan 2009 regardless. But still hope to get the GC on hand which will be convenient to go out of the country.
