Saan kaya dito sa California? "Sutter, St. Joseph's, or Kaiser. Not many choices here," my husband says. "Too much medical liablity, so good luck!"

I think he is a pessimist.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

That's true. They have a very different healthcare system here. Whereas in the Philippines, we can just go anytime to a Specialist with or without Medical Insurance as long as we can pay the Doctor's fee. We also have Public Health Doctors in the communities.

Here I had to wait for around 3 months for the Insurance before I could get to a Family Medicine Doctor just for this allergic rhinitis and contraceptive pills.
