Annie, according to your timeline it's only been 3-and-a-half months since you received your NOA1. That's not a long wait by USCIS standards. If you haven't received NOA2 after 6 months, then maybe you have cause to worry (it took 5 months for me to get mine, btw).

me too. i think that's how long most people have to wait.

try and keep yourself busy and distract yourself from the waiting time, i know it really sucks now but all this waiting will pay off in the end. ;)

thanks everyone, i guess im just frustrated seeing we have been waiting for so long to be able to file (coz of his divorce took ages!!) and then the delay (over 40 days) of the NOA1, i know there is nothing else i can do but wait, these past 3 years feel like eternity to me!!!!

Our letter of Intent was not notarized either when my fiance filed our I129F, and as far as I know the Affidavit of Support was the only notarized form that our fiance has to prepared, other than that, I don`t know which form you were talking. I am curious now and quite alarmed if Letter of Intent hast to be notarized because we didn't do that. I hope this won`t give us problems too. We are waiting for our NOA2 soon, its exactly 4 months today since we have our NOA1. Hope we can have ours soon. Good lukc to us.

Our NOA2 was approved this past week and my US fiance received hardcopy of it in mail today.we didn't have anything in the package notarized. So i'm pretty sure you don't have to have a letter of intent notarized at all. I think you will be ok :star:

Hey,

I can totally feel your frustration. It is the same for us right now. Seeing so many people getting approved now that have filed in July pisses me off. I am happy for them but really angry at USCIS. Plus we can't even get answers whenever we call them. Just a bunch of worthless call center agents that don't know anything else than what they have on the website. Funny enough when they told us last that they are working on March 3 right now, my faincé said "you must be kidding; look at your screen. This update is two months old. Do you wanna tell me that USCIS wasn't doing anything for 2 months?" Hahaha...you could feel the lady getting uncomfortable, her voice started shaking and she just said "Sorry, Sir. You are right. I don't know why that is."

Looking at all timelines, we shouldn't worry before we hit 180 days. Most get approved before then. Having said that, I know how hard this is as I have a hard time sleeping and not thinking about our K1 visa.

Good luck and stay strong. It will be all worth it!
