Almost 4 weeks since POE

Hi VJ,

It has been almost 4 weeks since my POE. I have not rec'd my SSN or GC. Is this a cause of concern? Anything I can do to follow-up?

I believe now I would have to get in touch with USCIS.

For SSN contact your local SSN office and for green card it can take up to 4-6 weeks.

Drop by your local SSA with your passport and ask them to look you up in the system to see if you've been assigned a number. If so, they can give you a print-out with your number and your card should arrive a week or so later.

Re: green card. Have you received any welcome letters yet?
