Omg ... funny story (hopefully we'll get to the answer for your question but while we're waiting....)

One day I asked my husband: Is it weird being so hairy? Does the hair on your legs or chest ever bother you? He looked at me like I was crazy and said "......No. Why?" Hahahahaha. It was a day after I had shaved my legs and I was getting the stubble. I just assumed a lot of hair would be WORSE. I guess I was wrong.

:star: perhaps its cause they're used to it??? i can't imagine that as a way of life but... maybe cause i haven't tried. Not happening today still trying to figure out if the lemon is essential... i have two lemons and not sure it will make a 1/4 cup???

so far thanks to Leyla the recipe is

2c sugar

1/4 c Lemon juice

1/4 c water

I tried that sugar and lemon mixture a couple times and never got it exactly right. Finally figured out bakini wax from the store (that doesn't need the papers) works best for me. I'm always a baby about it in the beginning, but then I get faster. Totally worth it when you finish. Letting the husband help can be good too, lol.

sugar wax is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy painful. I have done it many times and it sucks. The wax you get in the salon is wayyyy less painful

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

My hubby makes some kind of wax but I its not sugar and lemon. I am thinking honey and lemon. It lasts a long time like a month and you can wrap it in plastic wrap and use it later. He calls it Halawa wax. The first time is painful but after that you get used to it. It is by far the softest waxing I have had. I'll try and search and see what I can come up with for you.

Ladies, just break down and go to your local professional trained in speedwaxing. I use a special Lavender Wax for sensitive areas and I'm quick & relatively painless. It lasts longer and, done properly, minimizes re-growth over time. You would not believe the horror stories I hear from women who try to do it themselves. Helz, I *know* what I'm doing and won't do it myself in that area!
