A quick couple of questions...

Where is packet 3 and 4 sent? To me in the States or to my fiance overseas?

Since packet 3 includes I-134 are my tax returns, W2 and note from bank and employer needed at that time to prove financial stability? or is that needed when my fiance has his interview?

As a precautionary measure, my parents are preparing an I-134 and all of the necessary evidence. Do both parents' financial information need to be included or can I use ONLY my mother?

Thanks for any help!

A quick couple of questions...

Where is packet 3 and 4 sent? To me in the States or to my fiance overseas? To your foreign fiance.

Since packet 3 includes I-134 are my tax returns, W2 and note from bank and employer needed at that time to prove financial stability? or is that needed when my fiance has his interview? Both. Packet three tells you to gather them to take with you to the interview. The sooner the info is gathered and sent to your fiance, the sooner he can ask to have his interview scheduled.

As a precautionary measure, my parents are preparing an I-134 and all of the necessary evidence. Do both parents' financial information need to be included or can I use ONLY my mother?Only one parent, and only their income (if you use mom, don't include household income, only her actual income from her job, etc.).

Thanks for any help!

thanks for the advice.

one more question...

if the NOA2 was sent one month ago we are expecting word from the NVC soon. Would it be a bad idea to get the letters from employer and bank to support income now? or should i wait closer to date? or does the date on them even matter?

Yes, the date on them usually matters. The closer to your interview time ..the better.

Normally when the petitioner meets the income guidelines a bank statement is not needed. I-134 notorized, employer letter, pay stubs will do.

NVC will sometimes send out letters just letting you know they have your approved petition and have sent it off but they don't always so dont worry too much if you didnt hear from them. It's the hardcopy NOA2 (I-797) that you need to keep hold of. ;)

You can call DOS or the Embassy to learn if your petition has reached there yet.

If you have your timeline filled in check out the portals page and then the embassy info/reviews pages (links at top) for more information on going through the Embassy in France. It's from the others that have ventured t hrough there that you'll learn the most about the interview stage from as the process can be very different for each. ;)

good luck!
