We are trying to bring someone overseas but she is having a problem getting her passport done in DFA. They were asking for 4 different IDs.. I mean this is ridiculous..

Those who just get her passport done just recently, what is the current requirements to get a new Philippine Passport?

Here DFA website regarding passport application. My friend applied mid of this year and she was required two ID's and she presented SSS and Driver's License (ID's with her photo, date and place of birth)...

if she is still a student, school transcript will be fine, and school ID. plus, BC (NSO)

That will be all,and she is fine.

Oh, so her student ID can't be used as identification... if she's working, she can use her company ID together with another ID--postal id will do...

BIR id I think is not considered "valid" id... though she may get it and use together with the postal ID (this is valid ID)... I don't have any idea how long she can get the BIR id but in Makati, where I knew someone, I could get it easily... (I knew the person when I put up a computer business way back 2006--natuwa lang sya sa amin nung best friend ko)...

she needs to secure 2 valid id's such as driver's license, SSS id, PRC license id, NBI clearance, or any government ID that will show her complete name, address and picture. Probably the student id she showed is no longer valid since as you said she is out of school already, hence they asked for more id's from her. SSS id took a month before I received it.

AOS

03-03-2009 - AOS, EAD, AP sent to Chicago office (USPS)

03-11-2009 - Notice Date

03-25-2009 - Case transferred to CSC

05-05-2009 - GC, EAD card, AP received. :D

Voter's ID or voter's registration.

NBI Clearance would be one good route. Hve her bring her postal ID to the NBI office when she secures one. Keep us in the loop. Sorry she has to go through so much trouble.

Hi, I think she only need two valid Id's and she can get a Postal ID (valid for 5 yrs) and NBI clearance or authenticated birth certificate.Postal Id is easy to get.Or if she has a voter's registration that would work too.
